smell good, effectiveness moderateJun 22, 2011

I ordered these by mistake thinking I was getting the vitamin B type patches. Since I have them I decided to try them as the mosquito season is coming on here in Alaska and I've been outside cleaning fish the last 2 nights. They smell pleasant to me and are easy to stick on my clothing at the back of my neck. They seem help a bit and are a lot nicer than slathering on bug dope. But its been breezy and cool so I haven't put these to the real test of a warm calm evening. I did seem to have few bugs buzzing around my head & face but I had 1 or 2 mosquitoes go after my hands and arm. I'll keep working with them and see how they do as the season progresses. For now, I'll rate them as middle of the road and hope to update later.
Saved the TripMar 19, 2012
By George Went backpacking to an oasis in the desert, unfortunately, it had started to warm up and the mosquitoes were out. I had a few of these in my backpack, opened up one, put it on my shirt under my chin and didn't see another bug the rest of the trip. Glad I had it and now I'm buying more.
